PURPOSE: To consider making a new appointment to the Agricultural Preservation Board.
BACKGROUND: The Clerk's office has received a recommendation from the Agricultural
Preservation Board for the appointment of Howard McAdams. If appointed, Mr. McAdams will
be serving a partial term ending 6/30/2009.
FINANCIAL IMPACT: None.
RECOMMENDATION(S): Consider making a new appointment to the Agricultural Preservation Board.

recommended Howard McAdams for the At-large position vacated by
Mari Trosclair. Aself-employed farmer and current president of the
Orange County Farm Bureau, Mr. McAdams is actively involved in the
farming community and should bring specialized knowledge to the
Agricultural Preservation Board.
