Room et the Courthouse in R111sboro, tlorth Carolina.

Architect, hzd submitted to the County a statement for services rendored in
connection *rith the viorking ple ns and soecific ations fo_ the proposed Court-
house Huild ing, said statement being in the amount of gF6,8y5.00. anon motion
o_" Commissioner Forrest, seconded by Com:.issioner Efl=_nd, the folloering reso-
lution mes unanimously adopted:
RESOLl'ED, Thet vrhereas bonds in the amount of X250, 000.00 hevo
been duly authorized for the proposed Courthouse project but thnt
same hove cot yet been issued as the Hoard is nocr, end has been of
the oo~nion th et it viould be to tl:e best interest of the County Chet
said bonds not be issued until complete plans shell have been made.
ISOYI, T??EREFORE, it is ordered that 2rn A. Pi¢rd, County Accountant,
be, and he 1s hsre by, zuthorized and directed to pay to the said
Archie R. Davis the s~.tm of ~(!, 000.00 es oartiel nzyment for services
es outlined above, such amount to be advanced from General County
Fends. It is _'urther ordered thnt v:hen Courthous¢ bonds have been
issued that the General Funds Account be reimbu.^sed ror the said
amount, It is undorst ood t'net this partial payment is not to be
considered as io rmel ¢c can*.ence of the complete plans and sneci_`i-
c¢tions for the Courthouse building as provided for in the contract
vrith L1r. Davis.
