PURPOSE: To consider approving a dedication of water and sewer lines built to service Morris
Grove Elementary School (Elementary #10) to the Orange Water and Sewer Authority
("OWASA").
BACKGROUND: OWASA is requesting this dedication in order to properly service the water
and sewer utilities installed to serve Morris Grove Elementary School (Elementary #10). The
County Attorney is working with Corley Redfoot Zack's engineer to finalize a plat of "as built"
lines and expects to complete the work within the Board's summer break. The recordation and
dedication to OWASA are critical to complete the regulatory requirements needed for the
opening of Morris Grove Elementary School in August 2008.
FINANCIAL IMPACT: None.
RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends that the Board approve the dedication of
these utilities to OWASA as presented, and upon final review by the County Attorney, authorize
the Chair to sign on behalf of the Board.

Orange County, North Carolina the current owner of Elementary School,#10, according
to Plat Book(s) at Page(s) of the Orange County Registry, does
hereby dedicate and convey unto Orange Water and Sewer Authority, its successors
and assigns, all of its right, title and interest in and to the sewer lines constructed in
accordance with final plat titled ,Project Number ,
