PURPOSE: To receive the 1994 Snapshot of Human Services in
Orange County.
BACKGROUND: The Human Services Coordinating Council, composed of
representatives from the United Way, Towns of Chapel
Hill and Carrboro, Association of Community Agencies
and Orange County, has developed the 1994 Snapshot of
Human Services. The snapshot identifies emerging
issues and needs in human services and assists local
funders set human services priorities.
Jan Schopler, Chair of the Coordinating Council will
present the 1994 Snapshot.
RECOMMENDATION(S) : The Manager recommends the Board receive the
1994 Snaphot of Human Services as
information.
