PURPOSE: To receive a report about the upcoming opening of the
Triangle SportsPlex.
BACKGROUND: The Triangle SportsPlex will open officially around mid-
April, with the formal dedication ceremonies scheduled for May 6. At
this meeting, Grant Blair, SportsPlex General Manager, will present a
brief report about the opening of the SportsPlex, its features, and
planned program of services, and will be available to answer
Commissioners, questions about this new facility.
RECOMMENDATION: The Manager recommends that the Board receive the
report for information only.
