RE: Appointments to Work Group on Landfill Organization Options
In my February 21 Manager's Memo to you, I included a paper from me and
the Town Managers to the Landfill Owners' Group outlining some of the
options for ownership and financing of a new landfill. At their
February 23 meeting, the LOG asked that each of the four governing
boards appoint two or three members of their respective boards to
participate in a work group that would focus on reorganization and
report back with recommendations to the governing bodies. The first
meeting of this group was tentatively targeted for early April.
