PURPOSE: To consider setting a public hearing date for the CIP.
BACKGROUND: Each year, the Board of Commissioners conducts a public
hearing on the Manager's Recommended Capital Improvements Plan. The
1995-2000 Recommended CIP is scheduled to be presented at the March 8,
1995 Commissioners' meeting. A March 21 public hearing on the CIP
would give the Board the opportunity to hear citizen comments about the
CIP prior to the Commissioners' March 30 work session, which could be
used for deliberations on the CIP.
RECOMMENDATION: The Manager recommends that the Board schedule a
public hearing on the 1995-2000 CIP for Tuesday, March 21, 1995, at
7:30pm at the OWASA Meeting Room on Jones Ferry Road.
