The Bon rd met at 7:30 orcloclc P. hi. in the Commissionars~ Room et the
Courthouse with all members present.
This rras an adjourned meeting held for the purpose of gSv ing careful
conaidar¢tion to the budget estimates which were presented to the Hoard at '}
their regular meeting on July 2, 19$1. i f

Upon motion of Commissioner Forrest, duly seconded by Commissioner Efland,
the following resolution was unanimously adopted:
That whereas, this Board has discussed the fiscal budget for the year
1951x952 end has agresd upon tentative figures in said budget, but finel
adoption thereof hes been postponed until the next regular meeting in August,
in order that said tentative budget may 'be duly published end a copy tharetlf
tie filed in the office of the Register df Deeds for public inspection.
Upon motion of Commissioner Forrest, and seconded by Commis 3. oner Efle nd,
the following resolution was unanimously adopted:
BE ST RESOLVED thet the Boerd of C,dmmiss±oners of orange County, do
hereby c¢11 for a public hearing 8n the'2;3nd:-:dey:."o Y::d~7.y'y:'29$1 at the Covrt-
houae in R311aboro, id~rth C¢rolina, at I0: 00 o~cloclt a.m., for the purpose ~of
determining •rihe ther or not the said Boerd should adopt e resolution providing
for rent decontrol within the unincorporated areas of Orange County, end
wherees, notice of the time and place of said hearing be published ir. The
ldews of Orange County once a week for t~vo successive weeks, and also in T$e
Cheoel Rill 4/e ekly.
There being no further business, upon motion, ad3ourned to meet at 10:00
o'clock a.m., July 23, 1951.
