BACKGROUND: In accordance with 143.318.12 of the General Statutes, a schedule of regular meetings shall be filed with the Clerk to the Board of County Commissioners. The schedule must show the date, time and place of each meeting.. Commissioner Carey has requested that this draft calendar be put back on the agenda in order to discuss possible suggested changes to the meeting calendar. Also Chair Jacobs has added additional suggested changes to the calendar. All meetings will begin at 7:3.0 p.m. unless otherwise noted. (prior to the 7:30 pm work session) and to move the County Attorney's evaluation from April 12th to Thursday, May 3rd at 5:30 pm at the Link Government Services Center (prior to the 7:30 BOCC meeting at F. Gordon Battle Courtroom) • Suggestion to move the Budget Presentation from Thursday,, May 24th to Wednesday, May 23rd • Suggestion to move the Budget Public Hearing from May 29 to Thursday, May 24th (at F. Gordon Battle Courtroom) • Suggestion to move the Budget Public Hearing from May 31St to Monday, June 4th (at Southern Human Services Center) • Suggestion to schedule an additional County Manager's Evaluation on Wednesday, June 27th at 12:00 noon (closed session) • Suggestion to move the BOCC Work Session from Tuesday, October 16th to Thursday, October 18th
