BACKGROUND: The Planning Board is recommending Brian Crawford to be the Planning Board
representative on the Eno EDD Small Area Plan Taskforce.

I am very active in following the County's efforts to update the Comprehensive Plan. The
development of the EDDs is critical to helping build a more sustainable community. I live
within the boundaries of the area likelyt to be impacted by this EDD. When I left my job
in Raleigh, I began to volunteer locally in areas of interest and .related to my professional
work. Since my youngest son left for college this fall I've been seeking a new opportunity
to volunteer. I feel serving on this Task Force will call on my expertise and my interest in
