SUBJECT• Board of Commissioners Meeting Calendar for Year 2007 DEPARTMENT: County Commissioners PUBLIC HEARING: (YIN) No ATTACHMENT(S): Under Separate Cover List of meetings and draft calendar List of Suggested Changes to the Calendar INFORMATION CONTACT: Donna Baker 245- 2130 PURPOSE: To consider final approval of the regular meeting schedule for the Board of County Commissioners for calendar year 2007. BACKGROUND: In accordance with 143.318.12 of the General Statutes, a schedule of regular meetings shall be filed with the Clerk to the Board of County Commissioners. The schedule must show the date, time and place of each meeting. All meetings will begin at 7:30 p.m. unless otherwise noted. FINANCIAL IMPACT: Not applicable RECOMMENDATION (S): The Manager recommends that the Board approve the final schedule of regular meetings for the year 2007. Gordon Battle Courtroom) • Suggestion to move the Budget Public Hearing from May 31St to Monday, June 4th (at Southern Human Services Center) • Suggestion to move the BOCC Work Session from Tuesday, October 16th to Thursday, October 1 Sth
