P,Tinutes of the Board of Commissioners
Thursday, July 6, 1950
The Board met at 7:30 P. 1,1. in the Commissioners' Room at the Courthouse,
with all members present.
This was an adjourned meeting held for the purpose of --ivinp careful con-
sideration to the budget estimates which i,,,ere submitted to the Board at their
regular meeting on July 3, 1950.
Upon motion of Conifaissioner Filson, duly seconded by Commissioner La-,,s,
the following resolution was unanimously adopted.
That ,,rhereas, th-s Board has discussed the fiscal budget for the year
10,50-51 and has agreed upon tentative figures in said budget, but final
adoption thereof has been postponed until the next regular meeting in August,
in order that said tentative budget may be duly published and a copy thereof
be filed in the office of the Register of Deeds for public inspection.
There were several bids submitted offering to trade new cars for the
County Car being used by the Sheriff's ')apartment.
Action iias deferred until a lator mectinS.
There being no further business, upon motion, adjourned.
