MINUTES OF THE ORANGE COUNTY
BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
November 26, 1973
The Board of County Commissioners of Orange County met in special session
at 8:00 P,M, on Monday, November 26, 1973, in the Courtroom of the Courthouse
in Hillsborough.
Members Present: Chairman:-.C. Norman Walker and Commissioners Henry S. Walker,
Flora Garrett, Richard E. Whitted and Melvin Whitfield.
Members Absent: None.
This meeting was held in order that the Board of Commissioners might set in
special session with the County Planning Board and conduct jointly a public
hearing to review certain matters relating to petitions for rezoning filed with
the County Zoning Officer.
Chairman Norman Walker turned the Chair over to Charles Johnston, Chairman
of the County Planning Board, who conducted the public hearing. For detail
minutes of this public hearing you are hereby referred to the minutes of the
County Planning Board.
'At the conclusion of the public hearing Chairman Johnston turned the Chair
back to Commissioner Norman Walker.
There being no further business to come before the Board the meeting was
adjourned.
