I indicated in my inquiry to them that the BOOChas requested that I contact small haulersto: • verify that they understood that the county landfill was closing effective Jane 30 • Inquire if they had determined another disposal facility to which to deliver their waste and if so,which facility • If they had not determined where they would deliver their waste would they need/desire assistance finding a disposal facility o Approximately how much waste do they collect and what type of vehicle did they use • Would they like to meet with me to discuss Listed below are the results of my phone inquiry to the nine haulers identified: Lawrence Bigelow-563-1537: left message9:15am on June 11; no return call EfIand Trash Service—866-776-7863: spoke with Jessica and she indicated would use the Durham WTI but would prefer to be able to use county convenience centers, she currently dumped once per day except for dumping twice on Thursday; no need to meet with me again but may speak wit h the BOOCagain John Webb—929-3097: spoke with Donnie Webb who is now running the operation; he indicated that he will be using the Durham WTSand that he did not need assistance finding a disposal facility; he indicated he did not need to meet with me at thistime Uoyd Fbss-368-1292: Uoyd indicated that he would be using both the Waste Industries WTSin Durham and the Oty of Durham WTI he did not need assistance finding a disposal facility; he said he was going to have to purchase a larger truck to make the longer hauling more efficient; he did not wish to meet 1
