PURPOSE: To consider for approval the regular meeting schedule for the
Board of County Commissioners for calendar year 1997 .
BACKGROUND: In accordance with 143.318 . 12 of the General Statutes, a
schedule of regular meetings shall be filed with the Clerk to the Board
of County Commissioners. The schedule must show the date, time and
place of each meeting.
There are 44 meetings scheduled for 1997 as listed below and
shown on the attached schedule:
Regular Meetings 10 - Old Courthouse
7 - OWASA
4 - CH Council Chambers
Bi-Monthly Work Sessions 5 - GSC
Quarterly Public Hearings 4 - Superior Courtroom
Budget Meetings 1 - Hillsborough
3 - Homestead Center

School Boards 2 - GSC and Homestead
Hillsborough Town Commissioners 2 - GSC

Assembly of Govt. 2 - Homestead

RECOMMENDATION: Approve the Board of County Commissioners Meeting
