PURPOSE:
To approve the impact fee reimbursement request from Habitat for Humanity in the amount of
$12,000.
BACKGROUND:
On November 1, 1995, the BOCC approved a policy for impact fee reimbursement to local non-
profit organizations meeting the established eligibility criteria.
The County has received a reimbursement request from Habitat for Humanity of Orange County.
Specifically,the agency is asking for$12,000 in reimbursement for impact fees paid for four houses
that are in process or completed. The houses are located at the following addresses:
1. Lot 5, Culbreth Park Subdivision; Chapel Hill Township
(Family of two(2);Annual Income $21,000)
2. Lot 21, Culbreth Park Subdivision; Chapel Hill Township
(Family of three(3); Annual Income $15,340)
3. Lot 33, Culbreth Park Subdivision; Chapel Hill Township
(Family of three(3); Annual Income$14,300)
4. Lot 34, Culbreth Park Subdivision; Chapel Hill Township
(Family of five(5);Annual Income $14,000)
There is a line-item in the current year Community Development Program budget for these
expenditures. The current balance is$15,000.

RECOMMENDATION(S):
The Manager recommends approval of the impact fee reimbursement request from Habitat from
Humanity in the amount of $12,000.
