ANNOUNCE JOINT PUBLIC FORUMS ON
SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT ISSUES
Joint Public Forum on Reorganization of Solid Waste Management Services
in Orange County
Thursday, April 25, 7:30 p.m., Carrboro Town Hall
Purpose: To encourage public discussion and receive comments from the public regarding:
1) the Landfill Owners Group's "Outline of the General Principles and
Arrangements Recommended for a Joint Solid Waste Agency";
2) a potential schedule and process for public debate, and;
3) creation of a Joint Solid Waste Management Agency.
A draft of the "Outline of General Principles" will be available for review at
Chapel Hill Solid Waste Management Office at 1099 Airport Road, Chapel Hill
Library, Orange County Library and Carrboro Library by April 15. Call 968-
