PURPOSE: To conduct a public hearing to receive citizen comments on the County Manager's
Recommended 1996-2006 Capital Improvements Plan.
BACKGROUND: At the April 1, 1996.meeting of the Orange County Board of Commissioners,
the Manager presented his Recommended 1996-2006 Capital Improvements Plan. The Board
established April 16, 1996 as the date for a public hearing on this subject.
Staff will provide a brief summary concerning highlights of the CIP. Staff will be prepared to
respond to any questions or comments the Board may have following the receipt of comments
from the public. The Board will further discuss the CIP at their regular meeting May 1, 1996.
RECOMMENDATION: The Manager recommends that the Board conduct the public hearing.
