PURPOSE: To approve the impact fee reimbursement request from
Habitat for Humanity in the amount of $2, 250.
BACKGROUND: On -November 1, 1995, the BOCC approved a policy for impact
fee reimbursement to local non-profit organizations meeting the
established eligibility criteria.
The County has received a reimbursement request from Habitat for Humanity
of Orange County. Specifically, the agency is asking for $2, 250 in
reimbursement for impact fees paid for three houses that are in process
or completed. The houses are located at the following addresses:
1 . 2402 Gemena Road; Bingham Township
2 . 405 Alpha Drive; Cheeks Township
3. 223 Richmond Road; Cheeks Township
All houses are/will be occupied by families earning between $13, 000 and
$15, 000 per year.
There is a line-item in the current year Community Development Program
budget for these, expenditures. The current balance is $12, 046.00.
RECOMMENDATION:
The Manager recommends approval of the impact fee reimbursement request
from Habitat for Humanity in the amount of $2, 250.

RE: Impact Fee Reimbursement
I have received the attached impact fee reimbursement request from Habitat for
Humanity of Orange County. This request is made in accordance with the Impact Fee
Reimbursement Policy approved by the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) on November
1, 1995.
1 have reviewed the request and all supporting documentation and recommend approval.
As you will recall the policy states that you now make the final recommendation which should be
placed on the next Commissioner meeting agenda. Attached is an agenda abstract which may
be used for this purpose should you decide to recommend approval.
If you need additional information, please advise.

This letter is to request reimbursement for impact fees on three homes built by
Habitat for Humanity during the 1995 fiscal year. All three of the fees have been paid (see
enclosed receipts.) The total request for reimbursement is $2,250. Attached are the
requested detailed house construction budget, and description of the homeowners.
The location and completion status of the three homes are as follows:
1. 2402 Gemena Road, Chestnut Oaks Subdivision, Bingham Township
Completed July, 1995. Homeowner: Agnes and Robert Rone
2. 405 Alpha Drive, Mebane, Cheeks Township. Anticipated completion date:
December 20, 1995. Homeowner: Pamela Winstead
3. 223 Richmond Road, Efland. Anticipated completion date: January 15, 1996.
Homeowner: Mary Louise Crisp
