PURPOSE: To approve a resolution authorizing the Chair and Clerk to
complete documents consummating the $2 million private placement
financing arrangement with NationsBank for the Jail Addition,
Courthouse Addition, and Southern Human Services Center.
BACKGROUND: The County Attorney will present a resolution, with
associated documents, that will permit completion of the closing on the
$2 million financing arrangement with NationsBank. The closing is
expected to take place during the week of January 16-19 .
RECOMMENDATION: The Manager recommends that the Board approve the
resolution.
