PURPOSE: Pursuant to North Carolina General Statute 153-40, the Board
of County Commissioners must fix the time and place of its meetings or
provide a notice of any change in the Regular Meeting Schedule.
BACKGROUND: The Board of County Commissioners will hold their goal
setting retreat on Saturday, December 6, 1997 at the Homestead
Community Center in Chapel Hill. The meeting is scheduled to begin at
8: 30 a.m. and end at 2 : 00 p.m.
RECOMMENDATION: Amend the Board of County Commissioners' regular meeting
calendar by adding a meeting for December 6, 1997 at 8 :30 a.m. at the
Homestead Community Center in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
