PURPOSE: To complete discussion of proposed Commissioners' solid waste goals for 1997-98.
BACKGROUND: At a special meeting on June 2,the Board reviewed most of the goals proposed
for adoption for FY 1997-98. Due to time constraints at that meeting,the Board decided to carry
over to the June 5 work session the discussion of the proposed solid waste goals for 1997-98.
RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends that the Board discuss the solid waste
goals and provide direction as needed on any changes to those goals before formal adoption later in
June.
