PURPOSE: To designate a voting delegate for the 1997 NACo Conference
in Baltimore, Maryland, July 11 - 15.
BACKGROUND: In order for Orange County to participate in the
association' s annual election of officers and adoption of policies for
the 1997 American County Platform, a county must designate a voting
delegate. This person will be authorized to pick up Orange County' s
voting materials. Commissioners Carey and Halkiotis have indicated
they will attend this conference.
