PURPOSE:
To approve the impact fee reimbursement request from Habitat for Humanity in the amount of
$3,000.
BACKGROUND:
On November 1, 1995, the BOCC approved a policy for impact fee reimbursement to local non-
profit organizations meeting the established eligibility criteria.
The County has received a reimbursement request from Habitat for Humanity of Orange County.
Specifically, the agency is asking for$3,000 in reimbursement for impact fees paid for four houses
that under construction or completed. The houses are located at the following addresses:
I Lot 4, Alpha Drive, Mebane; Cheeks Township
(Family of two (2); Annual Income: $20,500)
2. Lot 27, Chestnut Oaks Subdivision; Bingham Township
(Family of four(4); Annual Income: $23,000)
3. Lot 28, Chestnut Oaks Subdivision; Bingham Township
(Family of three(3); Annual Income: $14,000)
4 . Lot 30, Chestnut Oaks Subdivision; Bingham Township
(Family of four(4); Annual Income: $23,500)
There is a line-item in the current year Community Development Program budget for these
expenditures. The current balance is $3,000.
RECOMMENDATION(S):
The Manager recommends approval of the impact fee reimbursement request from Habitat for
Humanity in the amount of$3,000.
