PURPOSE: To receive a report by Mr. Jim Ritchey, General Manager of Triangle Transit
Authority.
BACKGROUND: A verbal report will be given concerning progress in implementing the
Regional Transit Plan. The TTA's 1996 financial report (enclosed) will also
be discussed.
RECOMMENDATION: The County Manager recommends that the Board of Commissioners
and the Planning Board receive the report as information.
