At the Board's May 7, 2013 regular meeting, two petitions were brought forth from which were
reviewed by the ChairNice Chair /Manager Agenda team and the petitions and responses are
below:
1) Review and consider a request from the Orange County Peace Coalition regarding war
costs and directing funds to needs in Orange County.
Response: BOCC Chair to address as part of May 21, 2013 Meeting under
Board Member Comments - No decision; Chair will solicit further direction
from entire board under Board comments on May 21.
2) Review and consider request by Commissioner Dorosin that the Board receive an
update on staff's follow -up work on a potential County fair.
Response: This will be a Report Agenda Item on the May 21, 2013 BOCC
Regular Meeting
This letter will be provided as an Information Item on the June 4, 2013 agenda for
public information.
