Upon motion of Commissioner Jacobs seconded by
Commissioner Halkiotis . the foregoing Resolution of the
Orange County Board of County Commissioners to Deny Lawrence Park
Subdivision Preliminary Plat was adopted this the ls' day of June,
1999 .
I, Beverly A. Blythe, Clerk to the Board of Commissioners
for the County of Orange, North Carolina, DO HEREBY CERTIFY that
the foregoing is a true copy of so much of the proceedings of
said Board at a meeting held on June 1, 1999 as relates in any
way to the adoption of the foregoing and that said proceedings
are recorded in Minute Book No. 28 of the minutes of said
Board.

The Board of County Commissioners hereby denies approval of Lawrence Park
subdivision for seven (7) residential lots as shown on the preliminary plat, dated
September 28, 1998, and last revised November 13, 1998. The property which
is to be subdivided is zoned Rural Residential (R -1). The 20,000 square foot lots
in Lawrence Park subdivision do not meet minimum lot size requirements
(40,000 square feet) of the Rural Residential district.
