AGREEMENT RENEWAL
COUNTY OF ORANGE
WHEREAS a lease agreement was made and entered into as of the 11th day of November, 1993 by and
between the County of Orange (County) and the Friends of the Chapel Hill Senior Center(Friends)for
space to be used at the Chapel Hill Senior Center, Elliott Road, Chapel Hill, North Carolina;
WHEREAS, the County and the Friends mutually agree to the following:
1. The lease renewal will be continued for a period commencing on July 1, 2000 through
12:00 midnight on June 30, 2006;
4. Section 4 of the Lease and Facilities Use Agreement dated November 16, 1993 shall be
amended to read as follows: \
"Rent. During the term of this lease Friends shall pay County rent as follows:
July 1, 2000 through June 30, 2001 $36,474
July 1, 2001 through June 30, 2002 $38,298
July 1, 2002 through June 30, 2003 $40,213
July 1, 2003 through June 30, 2004 $42,223
July 1, 2004 through June 30, 2005 $44,334
July 1, 2005 through June 30, 2006 $46,551
Rent shall be paid by Friends to County in monthly installments on or before the
first day of each month, in advance, and without deduction or set-off whatsoever."
3. All other terms and conditions shall remain the same.
This agreed to the 29th day of June, 20000.
