GREENE TRACT REZONING
ORANGE COUNTY
WHEREAS, the Orange County Board of Commissioners has
approved an "Agreement to Amend the Agreement for Solid Waste
Management, " a copy of which is Exhibit A to this resolution;
and
WHEREAS, the Agreement to Amend the Agreement for Solid
Waste Management removes the requirement that the Greene Tract
property to be conveyed to Orange County as part of the transfer
of solid waste be rezoned in a manner that would permit the
construction and use of solid waste management structures on the
property; and
WHEREAS, upon the approval of the Agreement to Amend the
Agreement for Solid Waste Management, rezoning of the Greene
Tract property will no longer be a requirement of the Agreement
for Solid Waste Management .
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Orange County
Commissioners that Orange County, as one of the owners of the
Greene Tract, hereby authorizes and endorses the withdrawal of
the pending application for rezoning of the Greene Tract .
Upon motion of Commissioner , seconded by
Commissioner the foregoing resolution was adopted
this the day of 2000 .

for the County of Orange, North Carolina, DO HEREBY CERTIFY that
the foregoing is a true copy of so much of the proceedings of
said Board at a meeting held on 1 2000 as relates in
any way to the adoption of the foregoing and that said

of said Board.
