BACKGROUND: The following appointment is for Board consideration: • Appointment of Nancy Coston as Department of Social Services representative. If appointed term will expire 06/30/2015. NOTE: Due to possible transitional issues with the Workforce Development Board in the near future, it has been suggested that we limit representation to existing members and DSS Director. I have contacted all 3 and only Nancy Coston and Cleon Currie wish to remain on the board for another term. Patrick Rhodes does not wish to remain on the board for another term. I am moving the public education seat to another county to allow for another school superintendent to serve on the board. Please put the reappointment item for Nancy Coston and Cleon Currie on the Commissioners meeting agenda for the next upcoming meeting.
