The Board -of County Commissioners hereby approves a petition submitted by Orange County to amend
the Orange County Zoning Atlas by rezoning from Rural Residential (R -1) o Economic Development —
Limited Office 1 (ED -LO -1) property located along the eastern side of NC 86 between Fletcher Road and
Worth Street being further identified in the Orange County Land Records Office as Hillsborough
Township, Map 49, Block B, Lots 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20 and 22 (west side of NC 86 only); Map 50, Lots
6, 7 and 8 containing 97.67 acres more or less (excluding right -of -way). The property is more
specifically identified by the following description:
AREA 1
BEGINNING at a point, said point being the northeast corner of TMBL 4.50..6 and lying at the
centerline of the right -of -way of NC 86; thence, south approximately 2,900 feet along the
centerline of NC 86 to the southeast corner of TMBL 4.49.B.22; thence, west approximately 550
feet along the southern line of TMBL 4.49.B.22 to the southwest comer of TMBL 4.49.B.22;
thence, north approximately 220 feet to the southeast corner of TMBL 4.49.B.20, said corner
falling in line with the. eastern line of TMBL 4.49.B.22; thence west approximately 1,260 feet
along the southern line of TMBL 4.49.B.20 to the southwest corner of TMBL 4.49.B.20; thence,
north approximately 2,750 feet along the eastern lines of TMBL's 4.49.13.20, 4.49.B.19,
4.49.B.18, 4.49.B.17, 4.49.B.16 and 4.49.B.15 to the northwest corner of TMBL 4.49.13.15, said
corner also being a common corner of TMBL 4.45C.A.5y4.45D.A.6 and 4.45D.A.5; thence east
approximately 1,420 feet along the common line of TMBL's 4.49.B.15, 4.45C.A.5, 4.45C.A.4,
4.45C.A.3, 4.45C.A.2, 4.45C.A.1, 4.49.B.16 and 4.50..6 to the point and place of
BEGINNING. (Said tract containing 97.67 acres more or less excluding right -of -way).
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Orange County Commissioners that
this Zoning Atlas Amendment is effective upon approval.

the Orange County Zoning Atlas by rezoning from Low and Medium Intensity Residential (R -3) to
Economic Development — Limited Office 1 (ED -LO -1) property located along the northeastern section of
the I -40 /Old NC 86 EDD between Beckett's Ridge Subdivision and Town of Hillsborough EDD and
being further identified in the Orange County Land Records Office as Hillsborough Township, Tax Map
40, Block A, Lot 22 (part) and Tax Map 45, Lot 2 (part) containing 92.57 acres more or less. The
property is more specifically identified by the following description:

quadrant of the intersection of NC 86 and Interstate 85 being further identified in the Orange County
Land Records Office as Hillsborough Township, Tax Map 40, Block A, Lots 9B and 9C and containing
5.34 acres more or less. The properties are identified by the following legal descriptions:
