PURPOSE: To review and discuss the Recommended Non - Departmental allocations within the
Manager's Recommended 2012 -13 Annual Operating Budget.

BACKGROUND: This item provides the Board with the opportunity to discuss recommended
allocations in the Non - Departmental section of the Manager's Recommended FY2012 -13
Annual Operating Budget.
Non - Departmental recommended funding begins with Government and Management on page
164, and continues through Public Safety on page 182 of the Manager's FY2012 -13 Annual
Operating Budget.
FINANCIAL IMPACT: There is no financial impact associated with reviewing the Non -
Departmental allocations contained in the Manager's Recommended 2012 -13 Annual Operating
Budget.
RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends that the Board discuss the Non -
Departmental allocations provided in the FY2012 -13 Recommended Annual Operating Budget
and provide direction to staff.
