I also wanted to let you know that the Animal Services Advisory Board is recommending that the BOCC appoint Jenn Merritt, CPDT to the vacant position for a certified animal handler/trainer. The ASAB made this recommendation at its March 21, 2012, meeting(which Ms. Merritt attended). They did so given her varied experience in the area of animal training which includes working ps a professional dog trainer for more than 10 years;and her certification as a Certified Pet Dog Trainer since 2003 and her qualification as a Tellington TTouch Companion Animal Practitioner since 2006.
