At the Board's April 3, 2012 regular meeting, Commissioner Hemminger brought forth a
petition and it was reviewed by the ChairNice Chair /Manager at agenda review:
1) Review and consider a proposal to have motions by Board members be written on
the public display screen as the motions as made.
After review of this petition, the ChairNice Chair /Manager have directed staff to do the
following:
1) We will have trial run(s) of staff editing the motions, as needed, for the Public
Hearing Agenda Items and Regular Agenda Items on the regular meetings only, on
the public screen (before this process is fully implemented this fall). We will solicit
feedback from Board members regarding these trial run(s) before we begin full
implementation.
This letter will be provided as an Information Item on the May 1, 2012 agenda for
public information.
