HomeMy WebLinkAbout2012-089 Co Manager - Agreement School of Government for Strategic Public Leadership Initiative $3000~o•z-oS~4 ~r~.~. p ~-~ _~ LETTER OF AGREEMENT (Apri14, 2012) This is an agreement between the County of Orange and the School of Government (SOG), at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Its purpose is to hold a department director's retreat. 1. Services. Hold a pre-retreat planning conversation, prepare agenda, and conduct a full day retreat for staff. The full outline of services is outlined in the meeting agenda (provided separately). 2. Duration of Services. The services outlined in this agreement shall take place on April 5, 2012. Compensation. The County of Orange agrees to pay $ 3,000 to the SOG based on daily rate of $1,000 per day. The work will be conducted by Lydian Altman and Margaret Henderson in the following way: Prep work .5 day @ 1 staff $ 500 On-site 1.0 day @ 2 staff $ 2,000 Follow-up .5 day~a, 1 staff $ 500 $ 3,000 The County of Orange agrees to reimburse the SOG for reasonable travel expenses. 4. Pavments. Payments shall be made to the School of Government, upon invoicing from the SOG, as follows: in one lump sum following completion of the work 5. Materials. The SOG shall provide County of Orange with an agenda and notes from the retreat. 6. Liaisons. Gwen Harvey shall serve as a liaison for issues concerning work under this agreement. Lydian Altman shall serve as liaison for the SOG. Modification, Extension, and Termination. T'his agreement represents the entire agreement between the parties. It may be modified, extended, or terminated by mutual consent of the parties.
