Dear Commissioners,
At the Board's February 21, 2012 regular meeting, Commissioner Gordon brought forth a
petition and it was reviewed by the ChairNice Chair/Manager at agenda review:
1) Review and consider directing staff to develop a draft alternate transit plan that
relies only on local funding—not state or federal funding—to support the core plan,
with the goal of bringing that draft plan back to the Board for review at the next
possible meeting.
After review of this petition, the Chair/Vice Chair/Manager have provided the following
direction:
1) To notify Commissioner Gordon and the Board that this petition is currently being
pursued. .
This letter will be provided as an Information Item on the March 13, 2012 agenda for
public information.
