Andrea, First you must be appointed by the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC). Now that I know you're still interested, I can submit your name to them as a "suggestion" for appointment to the Orange County Arts Commission (OCAC). Then it gets put on one of their regular meeting agendas. It may take a month or so for all of this to happen. If you are appointed by the County Commissioners, then you will be notified by the County Clerk's office. And she will notify me as well. I would like to be actively- involved with the promotion of the arts in Orange County and I believe that my marketing and promotional experience could be of use.
