PURPOSE: To consider one change in the Board of County Commissioners' meeting calendar
for year 2011.
BACKGROUND: Pursuant to North Carolina General Statute 153A-40, the Board of County
Commissioners must fix the time and place of its meetings or provide a notice of any change in
the Regular Meeting Schedule by:
• Changing the time of the Board of Commissioners Work Session on Thursday,
November 10, 2011 from the original scheduled time of 7:OOpm to 1:30pm-4:30am. The
daytime meeting will be held at the Southern Human Services Center, 2501 Homestead
Road, in Chapel Hill.
FINANCIAL IMPACT: NONE
RECOMMENDATION (S): The Manager recommends the Board amend its regular meeting
calendar for 2011 by:
• Changing the time of the Board of Commissioners Work Session on Thursday,
November 10, 2011 from the original scheduled time of 7:OOpm to 1:30pm-4:30pm. The
daytime meeting will be held at the Southern Human Services Center, 2501 Homestead
Road, in Chapel Hill.
