At the Orange County Board of Commissioners' September 20, 2011 regular meeting,
petitions were brought forth from Orange County Voice members in reference to
several issues involving the fire departments in Orange County. Some of these same
issues were also brought up at the September 13th Joint Meeting of the
Commissioners and the Fire Departments.
These important items will be included in the list of items for discussion by the full
Board at the Commissioners' work session on Thursday, November 17th, which will be
held at 7:OOpm at the Southern Human Services Center in Chapel Hill.
This letter will be provided as an Information Item on the October 4, 2011
agenda for public information.
