Dear Mr. Jacobs:
I am pleased to announce that the following projects in Orange County were
approved at the March 7, 2002, Board of Transportation meeting:
Install atwo-phase traffic signal at intersection of SR $50,000.00
1006 (Orange Grove Rd) and SR 1221 (Grady Brown
School Rd) near Hillsborough
W. O. 6.500010
Clear and grade northeast quadrant to improve sight $30,000.00
distance at intersection of SR 1009 (Old NC 86) and
SR 1113 (Arthur Minnis Road) / SR 1723 (New
Hope Church Road) south of Hillsborough
W. O. 6.500011
Install flasher at intersection of US 70 Bus. and $10,000.00
S.R 1709 (Lawrence Road) near Hillsborough
W. O. 6.500012
Install guardrail on both sides of SR 1712 (University $17,500.00
Station Road) at Spring Creek, approximately 0.2 mile
south of US 70
