Section 1. The project authorized provides funds to fund housing activities in the following .categories: land acquisition, housing development;. and homeownership. Proceeds from the 1997. and 2001 voter approved bond. referenda, Affordable Housing Trust funds and Community Development Program Income finance the project. , . , . Section 2. The officers of the. County are hereby directed to .proceed with.the project within the budget contained herein. _ Section 3. The followin revenue is antici ated to com lete this ro'ect: Through FY 2001-02 . Hald Harmless. Letter for Firearms Training The Board approved the attached Hold Harmless letter with. the City of Burlington and Alamance Community College; and: authorized the Chan to sign on behalf of the Board; and directed the Manager'to forward he letter#o the City of Burlington and° Alamance Community College. e. Budget Amendment #9 The Board approved`approvng budget ordinance amendments and capital project ordinances fo.rfiscal year 2002-03 for Register of Deeds, Department of Social Services,. Department on Aging; Library'Services, Non-Departmental, Cooperative Extension, Housing and Community Development, and Bond and Alternative Financing Capital Project Ordinances. f. Proposed Land Donation from The Nature Conservancy The Board approved he donation of a 10-acre tract in Cedar Grove Township from.: The Nature Conservancy for future protection as a County nature .:.preserve through the:: Lands Legacy Program and authorized the ERCD to work.with The. Nature Conservancy and the County Attorney to prepare a deed forthe transfer of the subject property to Orange County.,
