Commissioners that pursuant to ...Section 13.2. of Chapter 159 of the General Statutes of North Carolina, the following capital project is hereby adopted.: Section 1. The project authorized provides funds to construct soccer fields at both existing.. and future park sites located throughout the County. Proceeds from the 2001 voter approved bonds finance the project. Section 2. The officers ofithe County are herebydirected to proceed with the project within the budget contained herein. Section 3. Jail Inspection Report+: -The Board. received the jail inspection report for January 8 2003 from! the North: Carolina. Department of Health and Human Services and the Manager's Recommendation states that corrective action is being taken as required.. d, Hold Harmless Letter for Firearms Training The Board approved the attached_Hold Harmless letter with. the City of Burlington and Alamance Community College; and'. authorized the Chair to sign on behalf of the .Board-;:and directed the 'Managerto forward :the. letter toc'the City of Burlington and Alamance Community College. e. Proposed Land Donatiion from The Nature Conservancy= The Board approved the donation of a 10-acre tract in Cedar Grove Township: from The Nature `Conservancy for future protection as a County nature preserve through tF~e Lands Legacy Program and authorized the ERCD to work with The; Nature Conservancy and the County Attorney to prepare a deed for the transfer of the subject,property to Orange County;
