Statutes of North Carolina, the .following capital project is hereby adopted. Section 1. The ro'ect authorized rovides funds to rotect and reserve identified _ P 1 P P P natural areas, prime forestlands,-and critical. cultural/archaeological sites. In addition funds may be used to acquire lands for future park sites; #armland conservation easements; and nature preserves. Proceeds from - the 2001 voter approved bonds finance the project. Section 2. -The officers of the County are hereby directed to proceed with the project within the budget contained herein. Section 3. The following revenue is anticipated to complete this project: Through FY 2001-02 FY 2002-03 Through FY 2002-03 Sales Tax $0 $0 $0 2001 Bonds $0 $1,750,000 $1,750,000 Private Placement $0 $0 $0 Fees $0 $0 $0 Other $0 $0 $0 Total Fundin $0 $1,750,000 $1,750,000 Section 4. Department of Health. and Human.. Services and the Manager's Recommendation states that corrective. action is being taken as required. d. Hold Harmless. Letter: for Firearms Training The Board :approved :the attached_Hold :Harmless letter with. the City of Burlington' and Alamance Community College; and authorized the Chair to sign on behalf of the .Board,.. and directedthe Manager'to forwardahe letter to he City of Burlington and Alamance Community College. e. Budget_Amendmenf#9 The Board approved`approving budget ordinance amendments and capital project ordinances forfiscal year 2002-03 for Register of Deeds, Department of Social Services,, Department on Aging, Library'Services, Non-Departmental, Cooperative Extension,, Housing. and Community Development, and Bond and-Alternative Financing Capital Project Ordinances.. f. Proaosed Land Donation from The Nature Conservancy The Board approved the donation of a 1;0=acre tract in Cetlar Grove Township: from The Nature Conservancy for future protection as a County nafure preserve through the..: Lands Legacy Program and authorized the: ERCD to work with The; Nature Conservancy and the County Attorney to prepare a deed for the transfer of the ..subject property to Orange,County..:
