Be it ordained by the Orange County Board of County Commissioners that pursuant to Section 13.2 of Chapter 159 of the General Statutes of North Carolina, the following capital project is hereby adopted. Section 1. .The project authorized provides funds to replace heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems along with boilers, chillers and cooling towers at Chapel Hill High School. Proceeds from the 2001 voter approved bonds finance this project.. Section 2. The officers of the County are hereby directed to proceed with the project within the budget contained herein. _ Section 3. The following revenue is anticipated to complete this project: Section 4. Jail lnsaection Report The Board received the jail inspection report for January 8,::2003 from' the North: Carolina Department. of Health and Human Servicesand the Manager's Recommendation states that corrective action is being taken as required'... Hold Harmless Letter- for. Firearms Training The Board approved the attached Hold Harm ess letter with. the City of Burlington and Alamance Community College:; and: authorized the Chair to sign on behalf of the Board;; and directed the Managerto forward the letterto the City of Burlington and Alamance Community College. Budget Amendment #9 The Board approved approving budget ordinance amendments and capital project ordinances for fiscal year 2QQ2-03 for Register of Deeds, Department of .Social Services, Department on Aging, Library Services, Non-Departmental, Cooperative Extension, Housing and Community Development, and Bond and Alternafive Financing Capital Project Ordinances. The Board approved the donation of a 10-acre: tract in Cedar.: Grove Township from The Nafuce Conservancy for future protection as a County nature-:preserve through the, Lands Legacy Program and authorized the ERCD to work with The Nature Conservancy and the County Attorney to ;prepare a deed forthe transfer of the- subject property to Orange County.:
