BACKGROUND: There is a vacancy on the RPAC for a resident of Chapel Hill City Limits. The Council reviewed all the applications that have been received and is recommending that Steve D. Peck be appointed to fill this position, for a first term to expire March 31, 2005. Chair Lorraine Parker called the meeting to order at 6:10 PM. She welcomed everyone to the meeting. We welcome four (4) of our new members with us tonight and everyone introduced themselves. 2. There were no changes to the Agenda this month. 3. Changes to Minutes Approval of November 26, 2002 minutes: Tony Britt moved that the minutes of November 26, be approved after one correction. The minutes of October 22, 2002 should have said they were seconded by Marie Tate, not Tony Britt. So noted by secretary. The November 26, 2002 minutes were seconded by . Approval was unanimous. 4. New Appointment Recommendations Lori Taft, Director advised the board that we still have some positions to be filled on the board. Sheets with candidates information was passed out for members to make suggestions. It was suggested that we recommend Seth Stephens from Eno Township and Stephen Peck from Chapel Hill -City Limits Township to become members of our board. � We still have two (2) positions open. One (1) from Cedar Grove and one (1) from - - - -- Cheeks At= Large. - Hopefully we can get some more candidates for these-positions before. -- _ - - -- next meeting.
