PURPOSE: To consider making two reappointments to the Orange County Historic
Preservation Commission (HPC).
BACKGROUND: The first terms of two members of the Historic Preservation Commission will
expire on March 31, 2003. Both are eligible for reappointment. They are Mr. Rob Golan,
member At -Large who resides in Cheeks Township; and Ms. Dale Georgiade, member At-
Large, who resides in Eno Township.
FINANCIAL IMPACT: None
RECOMMENDATION(S): Consider appointing Mr. Rob Golan and Ms. Dale Georgiade, both to
At -Large positions on the Historic Preservation Commission, for second terms to expire March
31, 2006.

Historic Preservation Commission Reappointments
Two Historic Preservation Commission members, Rob Golan and Dale Georgiade,
are approaching the end of their first term. Both members live in historic
houses, listed in the National Register of Historic Places; Mr. Golan lives in the
Maude Faucette House and Ms. Georgiade the Cate- Pratt- Harris House. In
addition both members have expertise in the field of historic preservation, have
maintained good attendance records (see enclosures), and have agreed to serve
a second term.
Please convey this to the Board of Commissioners for their consideration in
March, to prevent any gaps in our membership.
