ORANGE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
AND
THE ORANGE COUNTY PLANNING BOARD
SEPTEMBER 10, 1994
The Orange County Board of Commissioners and the Orange County Planning
Board members met in joint session on Saturday, September 10, 1994 from 4:00
p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at 3111 Dairyland Road, Hillsborough, North Carolina for the
purpose of discussing communication improvements, priorities, and upcoming
issues.
COUNTY COMMISSIONERS PRESENT: Chair Moses Carey, Jr., and Commissioners
Alice M. Gordon, Verla C. Insko and Don Willhoit
COUNTY COMMISSIONER ABSENT: Commissioner Halkiotis
PLANNING BOARD MEMBERS PRESENT: Chair Bill Waddell and members Joan
Jobsis, Elizabeth Walters, Clinton Burklin, Virginia Boland and Margaret Brown
COUNTY STAFF PRESENT: Administrative Assistant Joanna Bradshaw and Clerk
to the Board Beverly A. Blythe
The meeting was called to order by Chair Carey. No formal actions were
taken by the Board of County Commissioners. The meeting involved individual
or informal group discussions of various topics.
ADJOURNMENT
With no further discussion, Chair Carey adjourned the meeting. The next
regular meeting will be held on Tuesday, September 20, 1994 at 7:30 p.m. in
the OWASA Community Meeting Room in Carrboro, North Carolina.
