BACKGROUND: There is one vacancy on the ABC Board. The Clerk's office has received a recommendation from the Orange County ABC Board for Mr. Lee Hyde to fill this vacancy. If appointed, Mr. Hyde will be serving a full 3-year term ending 6/30/2013. In Orange County, all members of the Orange County ABC Board are appointed by the Board of County Commissioners. The ABC Board operates the ABC system and has the authority to hire and dismiss employees.
