BACKGROUND: The Clerk's office has received a recommendation from the Orange County Nursing Home Community Advisory Committee for reappointment for Ms. Patricia Koch. If reappointed, Ms. Koch will be serving a second full term, which will end on June 30, 2013. Ms Koch has been a valuable and active member of this committee. Since June 2006 she attended 19 committee meetings and was only absent for two meetings. She has also met her commitment to performing quarterly visits to nursing homes and is a strong advocate for Orange County residents living in long term care facilities. Adult Care Home CAC I have verified with Peggy Cohn, Chair that Thomas Olson has resigned from the committee. Kindly remove Mr Olson from the committee membership listing. Peggy is currently reviewing applications and we hope to send you a recommendation for a new member to replace Mr Olson in the next month or so. Nursing Home CAC I am still working to obtain the attendance records for Patricia Koch for her reappointment. I will forward these to you as soon as I receive them. Also, Susan Taylor, Chair is aware that Dr Mary Ann Peter's term has expired and she is not eligible for reappointment. Per Susan, Dr Peter is still interested in serving on this committee.
