PURPOSE: To consider making a reappointment to the Advisory Board on Aging.
BACKGROUND: The Clerk's office has received a request from the Advisory Board on Aging
for the reappointment of Dr. Janice Wells. If reappointed Dr. Wells will be serving her first full
term expiring 6/30/2013.
FINANCIAL IMPACT: None.
RECOMMENDATION(S): Consider making a reappointment to the Advisory Board on Aging.

We permanently relocated to Chapel Hill after carefully considering many possibilities for
communities where we would like to retire. I am especially interested in serving on the
Advisory committee and in helping to create opportunities for partnerships that promote
healthy aging and aging in place for all citizens in our community. I am particularly aware
of the challenges in serving diverse elders living on limited incomes. STAFF
